Alum P Bangkok Trip 2012

After a pretty long hiatus, it is time for a new post!

This post aims to 抛砖引玉 for people to post more stuff to keep the blog interesting.

This article will be a photo narrative of the happenings during the Bangkok Trip carried out post Sem 2 in AY2011/12.

It all started at Baiyoke Boutique hotel, a hotel that had nice pictures and descriptions but was really quite basic. Mervyn was not paying attention during this picture as he was looking at Mok who was negotiating for a metered taxi-fare, something which was really hard to find in Bangkok.

At the coconut farm, a stopping point for the floating market, where we got scammed for an exorbitant amount of  Thai Baht to take a boat ride

Elise with her favourite elephant, an early birthday surprise for her

The birthday celebration for Elise was an exquisite set of well designed surprises which involved a whatsapp group chat BKK Trip w/o Elise, where Wan Xin (Mastermind and Chief Designer) went on to devise a series of surprises with assistance from the rest aimed at making Elise a very happy birthday girl. The plans were meant to be completely secret but the cover got blown by the van driver who can't stop talking about elephants.

Everyone having fun feeding the Elephants, it was some special festival and we were lucky our visit coincided with it

In case you are wondering where is birthday surprise part 2, it was a dinner at Greyhound Cafe, for the 2nd time in 2 days.

hello!

okie. i am going to ask a stupid question. what mod is very easy to take one? i need one that is not so time consuming (who don't!). that's a stupid question as i said. but if you know of any, please recommend.

i am going to bid MKT 2401 anyway. Kai and Elgin had expressed interest.

"Darling, want to take that mod?"

and i am looking forward to taking a break from my work at the start of Aug. if possible, try to include those who will be at FAC. :)

Jun Yu: Yep darling I would want to bid for that mod too as all the GEM A clashes with my allocated time table. I would want to go for A3 which is on Tuesday morning :)

Bidding time!

Hi Alum P!

I am currently working part-time with the CORS help desk so if there is any problem with CORS, feel free to contact me and for modules related problems, contact Biz office :)

By the way, just to make a comment on the bidding of foundation modules, try not to waste points bidding foundation modules (unless you really have to) as they will be allocated to us. The bid points for specializations modules are averaged around 500-700 for marketing so you will need to save those points. We are allocated 650 P-account points each semester so try to plan your bidding or you might risk not having enough points to bid at later stages.

For your information: I am bidding for MKT3402 as my first specialization module :)
